ロボット教育の人材育成目指す「ロボットアカデミー構想」 大阪・北ヤード ナレッジキャピタルトライアル2009で披露 [研究・開発]
◆ＪＲ大阪駅北側に建設が予定されている大阪・北ヤードに集合する企業と大学など研究機関が融合する施設、ナレッジキャピタルをアピールする「大阪・北ヤードナレッジキャピタルトライアル2009」（主催・KMO設立準備委員会）が、2009年３月12、13の両日、大阪市福島区の堂島リバーフォーラムで開かれ、ロボット教育の人材育成目指す「ロボットアカデミー構想」など、最先端の技術が披露されています。
会場内は、15のブースにわかれ、それぞれ実証プロジェクトが紹介されています。
ロボット関連のプロジェクトでは、ヴイストンと進学塾の浜学園、人材派遣のリクルートR&Dスタッフィング、科学技術分野における教育事業のリバネス、それに大阪大学大学院工学研究科によるコラボレーションメンバーによる「ロボットアカデミー構想」と、セコムと上田安子服飾専門学校による「食事支援ロボット＆マイデザイン」がブースを開設しています。
ヴイストンなどが推進する「ロボットアカデミー構想」は、ロボットを教える人を教えカリキュラムツールを開発することで、ロボットを教育に活用できる優秀な教員群を養成を目指しています。
こうした人材が育つことによって、企業内ロボット研修向けの派遣人材のレベルアップや即戦力になるスキルを育てる専門教育、理工系人材の育成などの基礎教育などの底上げがはかれるという。
ロボットの開発、販売を行うヴイストンは、教育市場へ向けて教材ロボットを販売しているが、まだ緒に就いたばかり。
ブースではセンサーを４つまで搭載できる教材ロボットキット「Beauto Chaser」（5985円）と倒立振子Ｃ言語制御学習キット「Beauto Balancer」（9975円）を、実演しながら紹介しています。
13日には、ヴイストンの大和信夫社長、大阪大学大学院工学研究科の浅田稔教授、浜学園の竹森勝俊専務、リクルートR&Dスタッフィングの加藤雅博社長、リバネスの丸幸弘社長らが、ロボットテクノロジーを活用した人材育成について話すパネルディスカッションが予定されています。

「My Spoon」（38万円）は、セコムが2002年に発売しており、すでに国内で200台、オランダなど海外で100台を販売しています。
販売先は８割が個人。主に頸髄損傷や筋ジストロフィーなどのの人たちに利用されているといいます。
月間6100円のレンタルで利用する人が多いようです。
しかし国内の場合、ヨーロッパなどと違って国の助成がないために、伸び悩んでいるのも事実です。
そこで若い感性を生かしたデザインを取り入れることで、安全性の向上とともに、使ってみたいと思える家電品感覚に仕上げよう、と今取り組んでいるところです。
