仕事帰りにロボットバーで一杯いかが？ イーガーが開発中の飲食店向けエンタメロボを披露

◆組込みソフトとハードウェアの開発を行うイーガー（大阪市北区西天満４、穴釜敬志社長）が、自ら開発したエンターテイメントロボット「ＡＲＣ（アーク）」を使って、ロボットが接客するロボットバーを大阪市内に開店する計画を立てています。

　ＡＲＣ（Agent Robot Counter）は、産業用ロボットとディスプレイ内のバーチャルなアバターロボット（Agent）と連携させて、客から注文を聞いたり、会話をして酒の相手をしてくれるなど飲食店向けにカスタマイズしたロボットです。飲み物を出してくれたりダンスをするなどエンタテイメントなパフォーマンスも可能です。

　イーガーは、このＡＲＣを昨年11月から開発を始め、３月３日、大阪市中央区の大阪産業創造館で開発の途中経過を発表するとともに、パントマイム俳優のいいむろなおきさんの演技に合わせてロボットがパフォーマンスを演じる様子を披露しました。

パントマイムでロボットと遊ぶ

　いいむろさんのコミカルな動作に合わせて、まるで人間が動いているかのように思わせるロボットの動きに、見ている取材陣の中からも思わず笑いが飛び出すほどでした。
　このＡＲＣには、岐阜大学工学部の矢野賢一准教授のグループが開発した流体制御技術が応用されており、グラスに注がれたワインをこぼすことなく相手と乾杯したり、手渡すことができ、そんな様子も見せてくれました。

◆計画しているロボットバーは、カウンターにＡＲＣが複数台置かれ、その前面に女性のアバターが登場するディスプレイが設置されます。客はディスプレイのアバターと会話し、ＡＲＣから酒を受け取ったりダンスを楽しんだり出来ます。

　35－45歳の年齢層をターゲットにして、2012（平成24）年をメドに、ロボット研究拠点ができる北ヤード付近に出店する計画だといいます。ＣＧや３Ｄで店内を近未来な雰囲気をかもし出したいそうです。
　東洋理機工業が開発しているお好み焼きロボットなどとコラボレーションして、バーでお好み焼きを提供するのも面白いかも。

　同社の黒木一成会長＝写真＝は「もちろん店内には、リアルな人間の従業員も置きます。会員制で飲食代は１人１万円程度でしょうか。いずれは北新地にも出店したいですね」と、かなり具体的です。

　同社はＡＲＣを飲食店やアパレル店など、一見ロボットには無縁と思われる業種とタイアップして用途を創出することを考えていきたいとしています。

◆ところでＡＲＣと一緒にパントマイムを演じてくれたいいむろなおきさんは、ロボットと演じて「不器用かなと思っていましたが、一度決めたことは確実にこなしてくれますから、意外とエンタテイメントに向いているかもしれません。逆にアドリブが利かないところはダメなところです」と印象を話していました。
