プロアシスト、２次元超音波センサモジュール開発

◆プロアシスト(大阪市中央区高麗橋２、生駒京子社長)が、ロボットへの組み込みに適した２次元超音波センサモジュールを開発しました。
　センサの前方にある物体や人の動きを超音波でリアルタイムに検出します。
　暗い場所でも利用でき、外光の影響も受けないといった特徴もあります。

　超音波によって前方の物体の位置を、距離と方向の２次元情報で知るセンサモジュールです。
　ホストからの計測要求を受信すると、センサモジュールが超音波を送信し、前方の物体に到達、跳ね返った反射波をライン状に配置した超音波受信器で受信します。
　それをモジュール内部の信号処理で、反射波の侵入角度を算出して距離と方向を２次元で検知するといった仕組みです。

◆同社は2007年に、３次元で高精度にセンシングできる超音波センサと３次元CCDカメラの特徴を複合した３次元ロボットビジョンセンサの開発を手がけています。
　これは、空間で物の位置、形状を高速判定し、透明体や軟弱で壊れやすい被対象物に対しても確実に、しかも瞬時に情報をロボットに提供する信号処理技術開発も行っています。
　この３次元センサモジュールに比較して、２次元超音波センサモジュールは大幅に小型、低価格化を実現しているといいます。
